Unlike last year Peaches are plentiful this year in Stratford and there will be plenty to go around at the 36th Annual Peach Festival held on July 21.

“Due to the mild winter and the amount of rain this year peaches are abundant,” said Rene Scott owner of Son Rise Peach Farm.

This is good news for Peach Festival goers since last year there were no peaches at all due to the extremely hot temps and drought.

Stratford Round Up Club’s 77th Annual I.P.R.A. Championship Rodeo will as always start off the events leading up to the festival.

There will be a rodeo parade held on Thursday, July 19 at 5:30 pm. The rodeo is July 19, 20 and 21 starting at 8:00 pm each night.

Come out and enjoy all the fun and don’t forget to get some mouthwatering, sweet and juicy Stratford peaches.
