This upcoming weekend the Elmore City area will host its annual community –wide garage on Friday and Saturday.
The city currently has 10 garage sales listed within town and six more within the rural areas of the city.
Maps of all registered garage sales will be available at Elmore City City Hall and all EC area businesses.
“We have been advertising in The Garvin County News Star so I’m sure we will have a large crowd of shoppers. It always a lot of fun,” said Lisa Rollings, City Treasurer and event coordinator.
The Badger Bait Shop and Studio 7, 509 N. Main St., will also be out that day celebrating the grand opening of the bait shop and the 1-year anniversary of the salon.
The businesses will combine their celebrations offering free lunch, prizes, giveaways and music, everyone is welcome.
