Covercraft Industries will be the lunch stop for the 2012 Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour leg from Stillwater, OK to Arlington, TX on June 8, 2012.
“Our team, and the people of Pauls Valley enjoyed the 2004 visit by the Power Tour participants, and we’re looking forward to extending our hospitality and an opportunity to tour our plant once again,” said Marty Lichtmann, Covercraft’s President.
In 2004 over 1,600 people made the stop and this year’s attendance is expected to be nearly 4,000. The official time for the visit is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 8th; however, Power Tour participants can be expected to begin arriving in Pauls Valley earlier that morning.
The Official Power Tour Route will have most of the participants departing from Stillwater in the morning and traveling to Stratford then west through Pauls Valley.
Indian Meridian Road will be closed to local traffic from Highway 19 to Highway 77 beginning at 9:00 a.m. to accommodate the participants of the Power Tour. This will be the 18th consecutive year for the Power Tour, which is touted as “the Ultimate Gearhead Roadtrip.”
