William Bratcher, of Tulsa, was born October 21, 1916 in Stratford, Oklahoma to Thomas Harrison and Alice Victoria (Edwards) Bratcher. He passed away March 31, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 95 years.

He was married to Lorene (Wood) in Stratford on September 10, 1938. He served our Lord as a Free Will Baptist Minister for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers; three sisters; one son, Lavoid;  two granddaughters, Fonda Prater and Kimberly Prater Scroggins.

Survivors include: his wife, Lorene Bratcher, Tulsa; two daughters, Gayla Bratcher, Tulsa and Floetta Prater and husband Frank, Oklahoma City; daughter-in-law, Phillis Bratcher, Stratford; one brother, Shorty Bratcher, Ada, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends

Pallbearers were grandsons

Services were held April 3, 2012 at Pickard Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Harold Haas and Rev. David Sutton. Burial followed in McGee Cemetery under the direction of Pickard Funeral Home, Stratford.
